The company operates as a distributor of major brands in the industry and at the same time as a manufacturer of a few components that are the result of the expertise it has gained.
The Energy Division has been in business for more than 25 years and has gained a great experience in supplying components and solutions for both grid disconnected (off-grid) and grid-connected (on-grid) power generation plants.
In more than twenty-five years of activity, Uflex has developed a wide and deep expertise on all possible solutions for energy production from renewable sources and in particular on off-grid systems both photovoltaic and micro wind, both in Italy and worldwide, continuing the international vocation of the Ultraflex Group. These skills have allowed the company to provide solutions that are used in every part of the world, on all continents, including the Arctic and Antarctica, from mountain tops (Monte Rosa in the Alps) to African deserts, to the jungles of the Amazon.
To the distribution of historical and innovative brands, which Uflex continues to select and integrate into the proposed solutions, the company has conceptualized, designed, developed and implemented a solution to bring optimized power generation everywhere in a simple and transportable way: the HyLander, its first transportable hybrid generation system. The HyLander. incorporates in a single transportable case an endothermic generator integrated with a storage system for optimizing consumption, a system that can also be recharged through a photovoltaic system. Today the system is available with lead-acid and supercapacitor storage and in a version without a generator as a retrofit application with supercapacitor storage only.
Supercapacitor storage is the latest innovation introduced about 3 years ago that has revolutionized the world of storage with performance such as durability, safety, efficiency, and areas of applicability, far superior to lithium batteries and the more traditional lead-acid batteries.
